Aliza | Co-Founder & Visionary
For Porcelina co-founder Aliza, luxury is not simply about materials; it’s about trust, relationships, and the experience behind every design decision. Having built his success from the ground up through determination, self-education, and relentless hard work, Aliza brings a rare blend of business intelligence, construction expertise, and elevated client experience to Porcelina. With a background in Finance, an Executive MBA from Pepperdine University, and more than 16 years as a respected master swimming pool builder and designer, he understands both the technical demands of exceptional craftsmanship and the emotional significance behind creating extraordinary spaces.
But beyond his professional accomplishments, Aliza is first and foremost a husband, a father, and a family man who values trust, loyalty, quality, and meaningful long-term relationships. Those principles are not simply part of his personal life; they define how he leads, how he serves clients, and how he approaches every partnership. Through years of working closely with homeowners, builders, architects, and designers, he recognized that too many luxury purchasing experiences felt transactional, overwhelming, and disconnected, leaving clients without the thoughtful guidance they deserved during major design decisions.
That realization helped shape Porcelina into something intentionally different. Aliza believes exceptional design consultation goes far beyond product knowledge; it requires intuition, emotional intelligence, honesty, and the ability to truly understand a client’s vision before presenting solutions. Rather than rushing clients through a conventional showroom experience, he has helped create an environment rooted in hospitality, transparency, and trust, one where clients feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for. The result is a luxury destination where exceptional materials are matched by an equally exceptional human experience.
Ali | Co-Founder & Master of Curation
Ali’s connection to this industry started long before Porcelina. His family has been in the stone and surfaces business for over 45 years, giving him an early foundation in the materials, craftsmanship, and relationships that shape the industry. Over the past 15 years, he built on that experience by working throughout the Middle East on high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial projects, where expectations around quality, sourcing, and presentation are held to a very high standard.
That combination of family history and international project experience shaped how he sees the business. It gave him an understanding not just of the materials themselves, but of the gaps in the traditional showroom experience, limited samples, unclear sourcing, and environments that often make the selection process feel transactional rather than thoughtful.

When Ali partnered with Aliza to create Porcelina, the goal was simple: build a different kind of showroom. One that gives architects, designers, builders, and homeowners a clearer way to experience materials and make informed decisions. Instead of relying on small samples and disconnected displays, Porcelina was designed to showcase materials in a more immersive and transparent way, with larger-format presentations, curated collections, and a stronger focus on quality and origin.
At its core, Porcelina reflects Ali’s belief that trust matters. Clients should know where their materials come from, which standards they meet, and what to expect from the process. That philosophy continues to shape the way Porcelina sources, presents, and supports every project.
